I enrolled my 2 kids in the June holiday programs and I see them enjoying themselves tremendously. They were able to sing the new songs as they were catchy and melody was easy to recognise. The program cumulates in a 1 hour show in a theatre setting for all parents to watch. Even the shy ones were loud and chirpy.

My son attended Act 3 holiday 1-day parent-accompanied workshop during school holidays. Class size was small about 5-6 children pairs with a parent. The class was engaging as the bubbly teacher would warm the children up, leading them with dramatic physical movements in the beginning, followed by story telling, art and craft and short drama acting related to the theme. My child was shy and ended longer time to warm himself up, but teacher would encourage him to join as much asp ossicle until he was fully opened up. The children were deemed happy and confidence in acting out when guided towards the end of the workshop. Just take note that classroom temperature was a little low, bring a jacket.

My girl started attending Act 3 when she was close to 4 years old For the first term and her term end mini class concert, she was like crying and didn't dare to perform in front of all the parents. However, the teacher was quite experienced in handling such situation professionally and guided her to give her that extra confidence and security. This year, we do see great improvements and she finally was able to perform herself quite confidently and in fact much louder. I am glad that I expose her to performing in front of a crowd early as now she is no longer having any stage fright! I kind of like the way Act3 sets the syllabus. Clear objectives of each term is lay out and a copy given to parents. Content of each of the 8 classes in the term is also displayed. The only complaint is that it is situated in the corner of Cairnhill and so driving there was a bit difficult for me. But what matter most is that my daughter enjoys and benefit from the class. Teachers are lively and there is a nice waiting room for parents since parents are not allowed to sit in the class.

My girl is 3 years old and she enjoyed the class very much. Class structure: In an hour drop off session, they will warm up with familiar songs, and then learn movement, vocalizing, and social interaction through music, drama/role play. The teacher is engaging but at the same time, gave freedom to kids to express their own creativity and no pressurizing. My girl loves the songs, music, and the imagination play. Unfortunately the timing & location is not suitable for us, so we only came for the first time trial. Tips: They have interesting holiday program, sometimes at more convenient place such as Ion Orchard.

At act 3, my little girl had really learn to imagine and imagine, from boarding a bus to baking a birthday cake. It is a one hour parent accompanied class, there is plenty of singing and movement. We love teacher Frances, she is very engaging and friendly to all children. The last 15 mins of the class is usually a trip to dramatown, in which they will play out the different themes of the week (for example firefighters, baking a birthday cake), which also involve a simple art and craft activity. I find her to be more descriptive and imaginative after attending the lessons! They will also give a handout on how to reinforce the theme of the week as a parent child activity. We also took part in the holiday programs.
