APS stands for the famous swimming Olympian, Mr. Ang Peng Siong and so thought it would be good to have my 5 years old son learn swimming from his school. I heard there is a long wait list to get into this swimming school. It is a very structured swimming lessons for kids. Basic techniques will be taught first before the actual swimming strokes are being taught e.g. breathing techniques, how your hands and feet should move There is different "stations" or I should refer them as levels one will have to go through. Of cos the higher the child goes the level of difficulty increases. Which also means that your child swimming skills have progressed to qualify to moving up the "stations". It provides a good environment to swim as there are other older kids learning swimming as well and the coaches are young and able to click well with my kid. Parents are able to sit there and watch their kids swim as well and its amazing to know that your child has progressed so much and his a better swimmer than I am now.
