The lessons focus more on training on the child in speaking Mandarin through the use of games, singing, story telling, reciting of poems etc. It also incorporates doing simple art and craft that is related to the story told that day. What I like is that they include recording of my child in an oral conversation and will then email it to me. In the conversation, its about pictorial descriptions where the teacher will prompt questions and my child will be encouraged to reply in Mandarin or sometimes it will be just reading of poems that were already taught. I am quite shocked that the founder of the school is actually an artiste who is a DJ for 958FM.
