I came to know I-creative through recommendation from mummies from Facebook group. Brought my girl for their initial assessment and was recommended to have her come for a crash course i.e. instead of weekly once, we got to come as often as possible to brush her up on her phonics foundation before she can join the usual class of the same age. The teachers there are mainly local graduate teachers and are very dedicated. I can see huge improvement in my girl in terms of her reading ability. But I would also like to credit myself that I did spend a lot of time helping her practice as well at home. Do expect some home learning like worksheets to do and a story book to read. The storybook will usually be suggested by the teacher and rotate among the children in the class. I feel its good to build early phonics foundation and latest by K1 to enroll.

My son has been with ICL for a number of years since K1. The school not only teaches phonics but also has a variety of activities including poem reading, creative writing, doing their own story books, story telling and completing of worksheets. My son loves being able to draw and color and write a story at the same time. The teacher will actually give a few words and expect them to come up with a different sentences. For poem reading, a poem will be given each week and they are expected to go home and read and recite for the next class. The poems are actually for the kids to be able to identify words that rhyme. As they progress higher level, the lesson will focus more on grammar, spelling, comprehension and creative writing. Overall, my son really improves a lot in his English.
