A. THE READING WORKSHOP (K1 AND K2)
Would you like your child to sound out letters and blend them effortlessly to form words? Would you like your child to start recognizing sight words that will help him to read more effectively?
The Reading Workshop is a 10-week programme aimed at giving K1 and K2 students a strong foundation in reading. Based on research on best practices in both local and global domains, we have developed a systematic yet fun approach to setting the building blocks for your child’s reading journey.
Dates: Tuesdays 19 September to 21 November 2017 (10 weeks)
Time: 5pm - 6.30pm
LEVEL 1 - EARLY READERS
If your child is unable to sound out words in print or read in complete sentences, Early Readersis a fantastic place to commence his or her reading journey.
LEVEL 2 - INTERMEDIATE READERS
Children who have completed Level 1, or are already able to read some sight words and simple words, are welcomed to join our Intermediate Readers. In this workshop, we introduce digraphs, trigraphs, and longer sentences.

B. INTRODUCTION TO HANYU PINYIN (K2)
Introduction to Hanyu Pinyin Workshop is a 10-week program aimed at giving students a strong foundation in Hanyu Pinyin. Based on research on best practices in both local and global domains, we have developed a systematic yet fun approach to nurture the love of Mandarin.
Children gain practice in word blends, tones and reading, and will be given a Hanyu Pinyin booklet and a set of flashcards to aid them in their learning journey.
Dates: Mondays 18 September to 20 November 2017 (10 weeks)
Time: 3pm - 4.30pm

3. MINDCHAMPS READING AND WRITING
BE A JUNIOR ENVIRONMENTALIST
The environment is in peril! Join environmentalists Love and Light as they show you how to do your part to save the environment that we treasure. Get ready to help Love and Light by pledging your support to save the environment.
A. THE READING WORKSHOP (3 - 10 YEARS OLD)
Mums, Dads and their budding environmentalist will get to learn the various reasons why we should save the environment through Integrated Phonics and Listening and Reading comprehension through a series of fun activities. Mums and Dads will also pick up important tips on how to cultivate the reading culture in their children!

B. 2 DAYS WRITING WORKSHOP (K2 - P4)
Let Environmentalist Love take your children on a journey to discover Adjectives, Conjunction, Verbs and much more. Through this two-day workshop, they will get to create their own masterpiece, learn all about creative writing and more importantly, learn how to do their part to save our environment. Be sure to cheer them on and see the ‘before and after’ results of their work!

3 HOURS DROP-OFF PROGRAMME WITH FLEXIBLE OPTIONS TO ENROL X NUMBER OF DAYS IN A WEEK
A) Little Tots (18 months - 2.5+ years)
A drop-off playgroup program specially designed to immerse toddlers in both English and Mandarin languages. Learning is hands-on, multi-faceted and carefully designed to promote whole-child development. A great starting point for toddlers!
This drop-off pre-nursery program, carried out in both English as well as Chinese, is perfect for older toddlers who are ready to learn and discover (and conquer) the world through meaningful, hands-on and multi-faceted experiences.
A bilingual program where the curriculum remains focused on whole-child development and involves plenty of hands-on activities, fine and gross-motor development and social-emotional skills, while skill-based competencies like phonics, writing and numeracy skills are introduced.
D. Kindergarten 1 (5 years old)
A bilingual program where the curriculum is balanced between developing children into curious, confident, creative, caring and engaged individuals while equipping them with skills (like phonics/reading, writing and numeracy skills) they need to strive in schools.
E. Kindergarten 2 (6 years old)
A bilingual program. While focusing on school-readiness skills like phonics/literacy, writing, numeracy and scientific-enquiry skills, the program is committed in helping children develop into curious, confident, creative, caring, optimistic and engaged individuals.

Learn how to speak to the canvas in this workshop that shows your child how to let their minds and not hands create art.
The Art Blast sessions are a wonderful way for your child to spend the school holiday weekend with friends, making a mess and having a laugh.
Class Format: 2 hours to paint and design a 30 x 40 cm canvas. All art supplies for use during the workshop will be provided.

Class Format:
Each session will start with a warm-up exercise routine for first 5 minutes.
For the next 35 minutes the kids will be taught a choreographed dance routine on the latest K Pop numbers & Zumba dance routines
The session will end with a 5 minute cool down.

C. PLAY.LEARN.INVENT (STRAWBEES WORKSHOP)
Strawbees is an award-winning prototype toy. It is a kit based on simple units called Strawbees that lets children connect straws and build small to huge mechanical objects from just straws and connectors. It stimulates the imagination and encourages creativity. With Strawbees, children can modify their model as they go along, add straws, cut straws or add new connections to get a sturdier, more flexible or bigger structure.
